I went back to the petroglyphs today to talk to the land and sing to the Earth. The faeries really liked one of my sacred adornments they decided to borrow it….so now I need to go back a third time to this location and ask for it back, offering something in exchange. Sneaky sneaky, they are… 🧚‍♂️ 🧚‍♂️

I have been a good deal walking every day since quarantine started. It feels good to circulate energy through my body. I can feel strength building in my legs. I am so grateful I brought my serious hiking 🥾 boots with me.

Washoe, Shoshone and Paiute tribes are connected to this land. I have read of the legends of the “water babies” that are linked to all bodies of water and are said to sound like crying infants and can bring illness or even death… Each time I encountered standing water in the canyon, I sang a Shoshone water blessing to do a sonic purification as I passed by…

The wind spirits were relentless today. Nothing felt at peace, as there is much in transition these days. New energy is rushing in, which can be overwhelming and contribute to anxiety as we learn to stay grounded and open wider and allow blessings to flow.

On this new moon and beloved Earth day, I offered my voice to the Earth and sang my heart out in an offering of pure love and devotion ❤️💕
